Overview
Venkataramana Temple is an excellent sanctuary arranged in a beautiful area at Laila town in Belthangady. The fundamental fascination of this sanctuary is the directing divinity of Lord Venkatramana Swamy alongside Shridevi and Bhoodevi. Poojas are additionally performed to the parivara devathas Shree Mukhyaprana, Shree Ganapathi, Shree Laxmi and Shree Garuda that are introduced at the four corners of the sanctuary.
The Venkataramana sanctuary, Laila was set up 80 years prior by Kannaje Rayappa @ Laxman Shenoy. This sanctuary was recreated in 2004 with the direction of protection of Sri H.H.Shrimad Sudhindra Theertha Swamiji of Shree Kashi Math Samsthan and GSB Community individuals' gifts and sponsorships. This Lord Sri Venkataramana is the dominating god of the Gowda Saraswat Brahmin Community.
