Overview
Balaji Mandir is located in Partur in Jalna district in the state of Maharashtra, India. This temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. This Venkatesh temple is built on a 3 ft high plinth. The inner shrine houses the idol of Lord Balaji, on a 3' high pedestal. The hall has 8 wooden pillars supporting the roof and the way to the shrine is paved with marble. The entrance of the shrine has a beautifully carved wooden frame and there are 4 large mirrors set in the walls to the right and left of the frame. Multi-coloured decorative lamps hang from the ceiling. Though the temple was built about 50 years ago, the idol is as old as 500 years old.

Partur is well connected through rail with Mumbai, Nashik, Pune, Aurangabad, Hyderabad, Nagpur, Manmad, Latur, Parbhani, Parli Vaijnath, Osmanabad, Mudkhed, Adilabad, Basar, Nizamabad, Daund etc. Ajanta Express between Secunderabad and Manmad is the most prestigious train passing through this station. The Nanded(NED)-Amritsar Sachkhand Express and Madurai-Manmad Express(now Rameswaram-Okha Exp)do not have stop at Partur.
