Overview
Raniket is a hill station and cantonment town in Almora district in the Indian state of Uttharakhand. Mankameswar Temple is another major attraction of the place. It was made by the Indian Army and it is located at Pithoragar place. The Mankameswar temple was built in 1978 by the Kumaon Regimental Centre.
This temple is dedicated to three main gods namely goddess Kalika, Lord Shiva and the pair of Radha and Krishna. A gurudhwara and woollen garment factory are also situated near this temple. This temple is well known among the devotees and this is one of the reasons that people in large numbers visit to explore the rich beauty. The scenic beauty, in and around the temple is classic.
