Overview
Murlidhar Temple is located in Pardi, on the banks of river Vena, in the Hinganghat taluk of Wardha District, Maharashtra. Pardi is located 37 KM towards east from the district headquarters Wardha and 758 kms from Mumbai, which is the state capital. Muralidhar temple is dedicated to Lord Krishna who is one among the ten incarnations of Lord Vishnu. The temple is well known in its locality. Special poojas are performed in the temple during the auspicious occasion of Gokulashtami, which marks the birth anniversary of Lord Krishna. A huge fair is held at the temple during this festival in memory of Saint Nagaji Maharaj, who was an ardent Krishna bhakth.
