This temple is located in Mahabaleshwar at a distance of about 6 kms north of the main city. The presiding deity is Lord Shiva and is considered a very sacred place to visit. The temple was built in the 16th century by rulers from the Chanda Rao More dynasty and is built in the traditional Hemadant architecture style.
