Overview
Hanuman Niketan Temple is located about 4 km from Allahabad railway station on MG Road, Civil Lines, Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh, India. This magnificent temple, spread over a vast area, is dedicated to Lord Hanuman. It is also known as Hanumat Niketan temple houses the idols of Lord Hanuman, Ram, Laxman, Sita and Goddess Durga in one part of the temple, while idols of Sun, Ganesha, Uma-Maheshwar, Laxminarayan and Garud in the second section. Dwadash Jyotirlinga in the middle and Saraswati, Radha Krishna idols in the eastern row are installed in this temple. A gymnasium, a reading room and a hospital are also located in the temple premises. It draws a large number of devotees of Hanuman every Tuesday and Saturday.

In winter season, the temple is open from 06:00 am to 12:00 noon and from 04:00 pm to 09:30 pm. In summer season, the temple is open from 05:30 am to 12:00 noon and from 05:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
