The temple dedicated to Lord Shiva is situated near main Vindhyavasini temple at a distance of about 8 km from Mirzapur, 1 km from Vindhyachal Railway Station in Vindhyachal township of Mirzapur District, U.P., India. The temple can be accessed by pre-hired taxi / auto / cycle rickshaw from any part of the city and through lanes leading to temple on foot. The temple can be visited throughout the year but one should visit during October - March or during Navratries in Chaitra (March - April), & Ashwin (September - October) months, on Shivratri (February).
