The Shivalinga in the Siddheshvara Mahadev temple in the village of Limpangaon in the Shrigonda Taluk, is placed in a sunken shrine, about 6 ft below ground level. The hall of this temple has 9 domes and there are two slabs, one with the carving of a cobra and another with an inscription that is dated 1386 AD. The pillars of the temple also contain elaborate carvings and in front of the temple is a 25'X25' pavilion that holds an image of Nandi.
