The old, ruined mud fort, present to the left of the riverbank, has an old Mahadev temple. The Jalalkheda village is clearly visible from the mandap of the temple. This temple was built using stone, brick and mortar. While the temple faces east, the entrance is located in the south. The linga, crowned with sikhar, is placed in the center of the 15sq ft gabhara. An idol of Nandi is present in the mandap. There is a deep pool about 30 paces from the temple. It is believed that there is a temple at the bottom of the pool and it can be seen when the water in the river is clear.
