The Kashivishveshvar temple is hidden from view by the huge Ganapati temple in Wai. Anandrav Bhikaji Raste built the temple in the year 1757 and it consists of a shrine and a vestibule. There is a kund mandap at the eastern entrance, with a dipmal on each side. The building is built in the Mohammedan architectural style. There is a large Nandi in the front that has been carved out from a magnificent piece of black basalt. The entire temple is built using basalt.
