The Agastheeswarar Temple is a God Shiva's Temple located at distance of 2 kms from Manapparai towards Trichy main road.It is an amazing temple arranged at the highest point of a slope. It has some well known statues of God Siva, God Guru, Chandaran, Suriyan and some unique statues which are generally not easy to find and are unusual. A few engravings found on southern side dividers illustrate that the temple of Kodumbalore style and this may be one of same period.The temple is contructed at the time of "Chera regime". This temple has a subway to link up with other two Siva temples of Manaparai.
