The Aadhikubeswara Vinayaka Temple is located in Shenbagapuram and is dedicated to God Aadhikubeswara Vinayakar. Sage Naradha visited God Shiva and Parvathi at Mount Kailash and gifted them the fruit of wisdom. The divine couple were confused as to who should get it, God Vinayaka or God Subramanya. So they set a condition that whoever goes round the world and returns first would be get the fruit. God Subramanya set off on the journey on his peacock vehicle. God Vinayaka went round his parents, going by the philosophy that parents signified the world and thus won the fruit. God Subramanya disagreed and left in anger. God Vinayaka felt that he should have given in to his Brother. Upset at being separated from his brother, Vinayaka insisted that he wanted to perform penance for offending the brother. God Shiva advised him to perform penance in this region dense with Shenbaga trees. God Shiva, requested by Mother Parvathi to protect the Son, came here and set himself in five places to represent the Panchabhootas (water, fire, space, wind and earth). God Vinayaka emerged from his penance as a Swayambumurthy.

Meaning -The sun to Mother Parvati's lotus face, I worship Lord Ganesh, with the elephant face, the one who grants a lot of wishes, the one with the single tusk, I salute thee to grant my wish.

Meaning -Oh elephant-faced Lord, who is served by all the Ganas, who consumes the essence of Kapitta and Jamboophala, His favourite fruits, who is Uma's son, who destroys the gloom of His devotees, who handles hurdles, we worship your lotus feet.

Meaning -We meditate on the great power, we call upon the single tusked Ganesh, who grants wishes.
