Sri Pachali Bhirav temple of God Kalabhairava is located on the banks of Bagmati and Vishnumati rivers in Tekudovan town of Kathmandu, Nepal. There are numerous local stories about the temple and the deity. The first mention of the temple was found in Kasthamandap or Maru Sattal in 1333 AD. It was a kind of a political treaty drafted, believing God Bhairava as a witness. The Kapalikas or Kulse Yogins are the community in charge of maintenance of this temple.
