Situated atop a hill, the Renuka Devi temple is in the village of Kharosa (about 45 km from Latur city, in the Latur district of Maharashtra). A mosque situated next to the temple signifies the Hindu-Muslim unity in this area and people who visit the temple also visit the mosque. There is also a spring close to the hill. It is named Seeta Nhani (Seeta's bathroom), as it is believed that Ram, Lakshman and Seeta had once lived there.
