Phnom Krom is a 140 m high mound near Siem Reap, Cambodia. Phnom Krom is found to 12 kilometers southwest of Siem Reap town. Phnom Krom mound is extremely rough, neighborhood legend has it that the rocks were uncovered by the monkey general Hanuman throughout a chase for medication in the Ramayana epic. The territory past the temples west door bears a breathtaking perspective of the Tonle Sap lake.
