Overview : The temple has a main deity of God Shiva and God Ganesha and it is believed that this temple was built in 1317. Something interesting about this temple is that despite being so old this temple has another temple in it that the complex temple is of God Shiva who is also known as Mahadevar here and the another temple is of God Ganesha.It is also believed that the idols present in the temple were established long before the temple was built here, primarily this is a Shiva temple but one can see influence of Vishnava.During that time, supremacy of Vishnava was prominent and hence it reflects throughout the signs of the Vishnava throughout the temple, and there are many beautiful paintings drawn all over the walls in the temple which is absolutely beautiful.All the informations are gained from the Scriptures available in the temple and it was found that this temple was renovated many times over the centuries.
