Malayala Brahma Temple is located in the proximity of Sri Sharadamba Temple. Kshetra Palaka, the caretaker of the mutt, is popularly known as the Malayala Brahma. According to legends, a Malayala Brahmana scholar became a Brahma rakshasa as he was cursed for not sharing his knowledge. He was advised to serve as Kshetra Palaka by Sage Vidyaranya to get rid of the curse.

Meaning -According to this sloka, the entire world doesn't recognize the eternal God beyond them, because they are consumed by the elements of satva, rajas and tamas (good, obssessive and dark).

Meaning -According to this sloka, the heavenly maya of God is very complicated, but those who worship God will be able to overcome it.
