Kumbala Sri Gopalakrishna Temple is located at Kasaragod district in Kerala. It is one of the oldest temples in Kerala and the presiding deity here is Lord Gopalakrishna. He is worshipped at the Kumbala Sree Gopalakrishna Temple with dedication and affection. Kumbala is located close to the border of the South Indian states. It is located at Kasargod in Kerala and is flanked by 12 rivers. Here the Gopalakrishna Temple is an architectural wonder. Dedicated to Lord Gopalakrishna, this temple arranges for an annual festival which lasts for 7 days. The temple is a centre for the performance of a nightly folk opera known as Yakshagana. The temple of Ananthapura is located just few kilometres from here. Numerous temples are situated near the Kumbala Sri Gopalakrishna Temple. They are Adoor Mahalingeshwara Temple, Anantheshwara Temple, Mallikarjuna Temple and Thalaklayi Subramaniya Temple.
