Karamana is home to the famous temple of Sri Satyavageeswara (Lord Siva). It is situated on the bank of Karamana River and at the center of Sivan Kovil Street. The other deities in the temple are: Goddess Gmathyamba, Lord Muruga and Lord Aiyappa. This temple is managed by a body elected by the Tamil Brahmins residing in the Agraharams of Karamana.
