It is a Lord Shiva temple which is about 500 to 1000 years old. The chief deity is in the form of a Shivalinga which is a swayambumurthi having a cut scar. The Mother here is portrayed to have a face ever sweating. The great wonder of the temple is that the Lord appears as high as the view or bhakti of the devotee. An armour is represented on the body of the Lord displaying that a king embraced him once. According to belief,if the bones of the dead are dissolved in Surabi river, then they become stones.
