Overview
Shorapur is a town in Yadgir region in Karnataka, India. Shorapur is notable for the Sri Venugopala Swami Temple. The renowned sanctuary Venugopal Swamy Temple was developed between the years 1893 to 1726 on period Raja Pittambhra Bairi Pida Nayak. At that period the well-known painting of Garudardhri of Nayak's period and gasping is taken an interest in the London. Indeed, even today, every one of the disciples offers their payer in the Tirumala Temple at Tirupati. This had happened from the commitment of then Surpur or Shorapur rulers.
