Eshwara Temple, in the village Bagali, is located at a distance of around 6 kms from Harapanahalli, a town in the Davangere District. Representing the Hoysala style of architecture, the temple was constructed by using mud and plaster. Due to the collapse of the south cell, the temple presently has only 2 cells. The doorway of the garbh griha stands on door frames and has a figure of Gajalakshmi in the middle of the inner sanctum. The sukhanasi doorway is adorned with ornamental screens at the sides along with the figures of Lord Shiva. Besides, the temple also houses the idols of Lord Vishnu, Lord Subramanya, Lord Brahma and Lord Ganesha in small shrines.
