Built out of rough trap and mortar, the Vateshwar temple has a 40 ft high pyramidal pinnacle. Ruined cloisters surround the 100 sq ft courtyard. A small bastion flanks the 4ft thick, roughly cut rectangular blocks that form the walls of the temple. A tamarind tree grove is situated behind the temple and the temple itself is situated at a sudden bend in a stream.
