Digras is a town in Yavatmal district in the state of Maharashtra, India. It is surrounded by the Khandai and Bhavani hills.
About The Temple
On the bank of river Dawanda which flows from Digras, there is an ancient temple of lord Shiva famous as Mallikarjun Mahadeo Sansthan. It provides Digras a great opportunity for organising auspicious ceremonies. Followers of Brahmanand Swami gather in the month of December on the occasion of his birth anniversary. This lasts for 7 days and ends with the Palakhi (Procession).On the gate of the temple, two catechus are present.
