Aadumalleshwara is a Shiva Cave temple built by Aadooru Mallapa. An interesting feature is a perennial stream that flows through the Nandi's (bulls) mouth. It is located 5 kms from Chitradurga. The temple of Adumalleshwara is one of the attractions in Chitradurga. The temple is dedicated to Lord Adumalleshwara. It is a fine place for mental recreation and enjoyment. The temple houses a zoo containing cheetah, tiger, bear, crocodile, peacock, rabbits, wild cats and snakes. A pond opposite to the temple containing many big fishes attracts people of all ages.
