A small, artificial chamber, west of the Kalambhairi cave, is used as a Mahadev temple. Measuring about 25'X10', the temple has a small hall and a shrine. The hall has 6ft high rectangular, cylindrical and octagonal pillars supporting a stone roof. A square chamber with a stone roof raised on a conical superstructure, the shrine has a kalas on the top. Ramrav Bhagvant of Candar built this temple in 1730.
