The Adi Kesava Perumal Temple is located in Chintadripet in India, and is dedicated to Adi Kesavar. The East India Company developed Chintadripet in 1734 as an area for weavers, when George Morton Pitt was the Governor. Audiyappan Naieken, who became the Governor later, built the twin temples of Adipureeswaran and Adi Kesava Perumal in Chintadripet in the 1740's.
