Overview
Adishakti Devi Temple is situated at Vairagad, near Gadchiroli in the state of Maharashtra. The idol of Sri Adishakti Devi that is installed in this holy temple was found during the excavation conducted in 1986. The deity Sri Adishakthi Devi is seen in the form of Chaturbhuja, i.e with four hands. The idol stands as an excellent example for the craftsmanship of sculptors pertaining to that period. Devotees visit the temple all through the year.

The town of Gadchiroli is located approximately 180 Kms from Nagpur and 80 Kms away from Chandrapur. It takes around two hours from Chandrapur and 4 hours from Nagpur to reach Gadchiroli by bus.
