There is a temple similar to this temple at the slopes of the Himalayas. The temple at Kanchipuram is known as Kanchi Anekathangavatham and the temple on the slopes of the Himalayas in known as Anekathangapadam. The presiding deity in the temple at Kanchi is Anekathangavatheswarar. This is a separate temple devoted to Lord Shiva.
