The Anjaneyar Temple is located in Namakkal and is dedicated to God Anjaneya. The temple has a statue of Sri Anjaneya which is 18 feet tall and has a Japamala in hand and a sword in the waist. Sri Narasimmah is depicted with sharp nails which he used to kill Hiranya and a palm with stains of blood. There is Janaka, Sanadhanar, Sun, Moon and Brahma around him. In this temple, Sri Mahalakshmi has her place on the chest of the God. Sri Namagiri Thayar (Mother Lakshmi) has her shrine here facing east. The temple has paintings of Sri Ashtapuja Narasimhar, Vaikunda Perumal, Varahar and the Ulagalanada Perumal.
