Ayyanar Temple in Ambalavananendal is one of the few Grama Devatas saving the village. This Temple is located in the northern border of the village on the main road towards Avudayarkovil. This temple has four deities namely Vinayagar (located under Arasamaram), Ayyanar, Kali and Karuppar. Kuthirai Eduppu is an important festival for this temple and Kavadi and Palkudam for Subramanya Swamy Temple in the village will start from this temple only.

Meaning -According to this sloka, the entire world doesn't recognize the eternal God beyond them, because they are consumed by the elements of satva, rajas and tamas (good, obssessive and dark).

Meaning -According to this sloka, the heavenly maya of God is very complicated, but those who worship God will be able to overcome it.
