Overview
The deity of God Vishnu is worshipped at the Beni Madhav Temple which is located at Daragunj in Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. The temple comprises of a shrine where the deities of Radha Krishna made of black stone are installed. Thousands of devotees visit this temple to get the blessings of both God Krishna and Goddess Radha.
Legend and Stories
Once a Guru of Vaishnavas named Chaithanya Mahaprabhu came from Bengal to visit this temple. He is believed to be an ardent devotee of God Mahavishnu and Goddess Lakshmi. Since his arrival, thousands of devotees as well as pilgrims gave started visiting the temple during the year.

Timings
The devotees can visit the temple in the morning from 5am to 12pm or during the evening from 3pm to 10pm. Prayers are conducted four times in a day and devotional songs are played at 8:30pm daily.
