Overview
Bhaluni Dham is located near Rotas,in Bihar, India. Bikramganj is the town nearest to this place. Bhaluni Dham boasts of a famous temple of the Goddess Durga who is called here as “Yakshini Bhawani”. Thus Bhaluni Dham is also known by the name Yakshini Dham by the locals. The temple of Goddess Yakshini Bhawani is situated near a lake. In the local language, Yakshini Devi is known as Jakhini Maai.
A grand fair is organised in the temple on the auspicious occasion of Chitra Nauratra. The architecture and design of the temple resembles those that of the 6th century AD. There is also an ancient temple of God “Shirac “Bhankhandi Mahadevan” which is situated 7 kms east of Dinara in Bikramganj. Thousands of Devotees gather around the temple every year to worship the Goddess and seek her divine blessings.
