Overview
The temple of God Brahma is located in the north-eastern side of the village Niali in Cuttack district Cuttack is the former capital and the second largest city in the eastern Indian state of Odisha.
About The Temple
The temple was rebuilt in the 12th Century. The idol of Brahma holds a rosary and Kamandalu, sitting on a Lotus. He has four faces. There are two Vishnu images which belong to 12th century AD. The main vimana is of Pidha deula style. It is very near to Madhava Temple, Niali. A tributary of Mahanadi called Prachee is flowing near the shrine. Some local Brahmins opine that an Ashwamedha yajna was done by Brahma here.

The nearest Airport is located at Bhubaneswar about 40 km from the town. The nearest Railway stations from Niali are Bhubaneswar (35km) and Cuttack (47km). State Highway No. 60 connects Niali with Bhubaneswar via Phulanakhara and Cuttack. Niali is connected by road with Konark Sun Temple (35km), Kakatpur Mangala temple (26 km) and Puri Jagannath temple (60 km).
