God Shiva here is in the form of Swayambu lingam (self manifested) with the names of Magudeswarar, Paandi Kodumudi Nathar, Malaikozhundheeswarar etc., with Goddess with the names of Soundhravalli, Soudambikai, Vadivudainayagi. God Mahavishnu is known as Veera Narayana Perumal in sayana position with Goddess Thirumangai Nachiyar (Maha Lakshmi). There exists a 3000 years old Vanni tree is considered as God Brahma of this temple. Holy river Cauveri along with other Holy water is found within the temple as Bharadhwaja Theertham, Brahma Theertham and Deva Theertham. This temple approximately five to Ten minutes walk from the station. This is a fairly big temple which has a vast empty space in front.
