About The Temple
The Brijh Raj Swami temple inside the Nurpoor fort is a 16th century temple of Lord Krishna and home to a revered deity. It is the only temple where Lord Krishna and Meera idols are worshipped. When Raja of Nurpoor went to Chittorgarh he received this statue as a return gift from the Maharana of Chittorgarh. Along with this, a Moulsary (a fruit-bearing plant) sampling was brought.
