Overview
Sri Bugga Ramalingeswara Swamy Temple is located on banks of Penna River at Tadipathri in Ananthapur of Andhra Pradesh. Lord Shiva is presiding here in the form of Sri Bugga Ramalingeswara Swamy.
Legend and Stories
Sri Bugga Ramalingeswara Swamy Temple was built by Thimma Nayakudu and Ramalinga Nayakudu in 16th century. The Shivalinga is installed by Lord Rama. The temple has main entrances on South and West. The temple reflects the beautiful architecture designed by Ramachari with 650 members as a team for 21 years. There is a secret tunnel to Tirupati but now the entrance of the tunnel is closed. Sri Ramanavami is celebrated grandly here.
