Chandi Temple is an ancient shrine situated at Saintala, about 32 km south of Balangir-Titlagarh road, in the Balangir district. Saintala is noted for the remains of its ancient temples. The temple, now in ruins, is of great archeological importance. Goddess Chandi in Mahisamardini form is presently worshipped in a modern temple which stands on a mound with the parts of stone temples buried or scattered all around.
