The Chandranath temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is located in Paroda, Goa. This temple is located atop a small hill Chandranath Parvat, 14 kilometres from Margao. The presiding deity is Lord Chandreswar An incarnation of Lord Shiva. The Shiva Ling in this temple is positioned in such a way that it gets bathed in moonlight every full moon day. The other deity here is Lord Boothnath.Chandreshwar Bhootnath Temple is also known as Shri Chandreshwar Bhootnath Temple. It is a ancient shrine of Hindu people and one of the religious tourist site of Goa. This temple is dedicated to an incarnation of Shiva, The Lord of the Moon.
