Dakshinamurthy Temple in Ayapakkam, north Chennai is one of the few temples dedicated to the form of Lord Shiva, as the symbol of Knowledge, a "Gnana Guru", the other two temples being the ones in Alankudi and Thiruvottiyu. r.
