Overview
Ganesh Temple is found in an ambiguous village Degaon. Degaon is a small Village in Khanapur Taluk in Belgaum District of Karnataka, India. It is situated 27 KM towards South from District headquarters Belgaum and 520 KM from State capital Bangalore. This temple of Lord Ganesha is a private temple of Gondhalekar family. Gondhalekars were the landlords of 84 villages, Degaon being one of them. The old temple was renovated by Vasant Krishnaji Gondhalekar in 1985.
