This temple, considered as one of the 12 Jyotir Lingas is located at a distance of 11 kms from Daulatabad in Maharashtra. The presiding deity is Lord Shiva in the form of a Shiv Ling. The temple was built by Ahilyabhai Holkar who also built the Kashi Viswanath temple at Benares. According to folklore the Lord here helped a devout devotee by the name Kusuma, who used to sincerely worship the lord everyday, by restoring her son's life after he was heinously killed. Hence the lord here is also known as Ghushmeswar.
