Overview
Giddheshwar Temple is known as Shiva sanctuary in that locality. The place is found 15 kms south of Jamui. It is an excellent temple of Lord Shiva located on the highest point of stones. According to the legends, the unforgettable battle amongst Ravana and Jatayu occurred at this very spot. The place is loaded with devotees on Shivratri and Magh Purnima.
