Overview
Gowreeswara Temple Cherai is located in Ernakulam region of Kerala. The sanctuary is preseved by Vinjhana Vardhini Sabha (V. V Sabha). This sanctuary is the unrivaled sanctuary in Asia which is chathurmukha kovil(sree kovil with four side entryways) It is otherwise called Malayala palani or Muruga Temple. The primary god is subrahmanyan, yet the name of the sanctuary is devoted for sreegowreeswaran (sivan= father of subrahnanyan).
