Overview
Hanuman Temple is a 150 year old sanctuary situated close to the fundamental passage of the Bangalore Turf Club constructed at Bangalore. The sanctuary is devoted to Lord Hanuman, the monkey god, an honorable legend and an extraordinary enthusiast of Lord Ram.
About The Temple
The hallowed place, is a combination of the Hoysala style engineering of Mysore and the Chandela style engineering of Madhya Pradesh, is composed with a lotus-blossom molded establishment. The dividers of the sanctuaries are embellished with delightful models portraying the scenes from the Ramayana and Mahabharata.
How To Reach Bangalore
Airport
One can reach Bangalore via air at Bangalore International Airport which is situated at a distance of 40 km from the city. From here one can hire prepaid taxi services and bus services to reach the city. Many national and international flights land at this airport making approachability of the city easy.
Railways
There are two rail head at Banglore one, Bangalore Railway Station and the other Yeshvantpur Railway Station that connect Bangalore to rest of India. From Yeshvantpur Railway Station one need to hire or book a cab to Bangalore, this will take approximately 30-40 minutes.
Road
Bangalore is well-linked by a network of buses from cities like Goa, Mumbai, Pune, Coimbatore and Mangalore. The options range from regular buses to air-conditioned, Volvo and sleeper coaches. While some of the buses are run by Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation, there are also a number of private bus operators who run inter-city buses to and from Bangalore.
