Overview
Jag Mandir is the central attraction in the picturesque Kishore Sagar artificial lake. It was originally a temple which was built in 1740 for the queen of Kota.

The architectural style of Jag Mandir is worth noticing as it is a mix of Mughal and Hindu architectural style. The interiors of the palace are adorned with different wall paintings which depicts the Hindu gods and goddess.
The red sandstone building is a marvel during the night with illuminations all around reflecting on the azure waters of the serene lake. Boat riders have the rare chance of viewing the Jag Mandir in close vicinity. It is nice to see daytimes as well with glowing marbles of the palace in the sunlight.
