The sabhamandap of this antique temple was only constructed in 1915 thanks to public contributions. The entrance of the sanctuary is highly ornamented and has a large linga idol with a hollow pit in the center. To the left of the Nandi installed on a pedestalm are several niches, one of which has a brass 11-hooded cobra sheltering a brass Shankara idol. An idol of Parvati is also installed in a similar niche. Idols dedicated to Ganapati and Sarasvati are also present at the temple and many pavilions in the courtyard serve as stands. Marriages and other sacred ceremonies can be conducted in the sabhamandap.
