Built in the beginning of 20th century, Kinnimulky Veerabhadra temple is located on the main road, near Swagatha Gopuram, in the southern entrance of Udupi. Along with the presiding deity of Lord Veerabhadra, idols of Mahaganapathi and Shantadurga are also worshipped here. There is a Naga Sannidhi in front of the temple and daivasthana of dharmadevathas by the southern side of the temple. The religious functions of the temple and other social and cultural functions are conducted at Veerabhadra Kalabhavana. A 3 days fair is held on Pournami day of Suggi month in every year. Special puja's are set up on Nagarapanchami, Vinayaka Chaturthi, Diwali, Durga Puja, Mahashivratri and Navratri.
