Overview
Kula Vilakkamman Temple is located at Mannathampalayam, near Nanjaikalamangalam in Erode District,Tamil Nadu, India.The Kulavilaku amman temple is on the southern Banks of River Cavery, facing the North.
Reason behind the naming of the deity
Once the idol of amman from kalamangalam and Kulavillaki were given to sculpt in the same place. It so happened that the idols where interchange without the knowledge of the sculptor. Hence they named the deity with its respective village name – Kulavillaku.(where it actually has to go).
