Overview
The Mahakaali temple is located in Arvi Tehsil 35 km from Warda City. This is a holy place for devotees who throng the temple to get a vision of goddess Mahakaali who is considered very auspicious.
One can find the Mahakaali Dam on the river Dham near the temple. The river is originated from the hills of Garamsur on the Kharangana - Kondhali route. The Mahakaali temple is built on the bottom side of the Dam. The dense green forest surrounding the water storage attracts the tourists.
Staying facilities for the pilgrims are available here. The government promotes it as a tourist place by providing rest houses, gardens, water boating etc to attract the tourists.
